Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making any booking, as they contain important information about your rights and obligations and you will be bound by them.
Transfer-Lesvos.com / Lesvorama (referred to in the agreement as ‚we, us or our‘) acts as a disclosed agent for third party transport providers (the „Supplier“). In these booking conditions references to „you“ and „your“ and ‘passenger(s)’ include the first named person on the booking and all persons on whose behalf a booking is made or any other person to whom a booking is transferred. By ordering any services from our websites, you are entering into a contract with the Supplier for the supply of Services and not Transfer-Lesvos.com / Lesvorama. You agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions of use as they apply to your order. The contract for the provision of transport service is between you and the Supplier.
These booking conditions, in conjunction with the information set out on our website, and your voucher form the entire agreement between ourselves and yourselves and cover all bookings made through Transfer-Lesvos.com / Lesvorama including bookings made on the transfer-lesvos.com website.
By making a booking with us, you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions as they may be modified and posted on our web site from time to time as well as other information contained in the website and shown on your vouchers. Please also note that as you are contracting directly with the Supplier you may also be bound by their terms and conditions of booking.
If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions then regrettably you may not place an order via our website.
2. Ordering, Pricing and Payment
2.1 To place an order you must follow the ordering procedures set out on the order page of our website. All orders must be placed at least 48 hours in advance of your departure.
2.2 We are entitled, on behalf of the Supplier, to refuse any order placed by you. We do not guarantee to successfully allocate a Supplier to every booking request. In the event that we are unable to allocate your booking request to a Supplier, we will send an email to advise you of that fact. An alternative may be offered which may include additional charges. We will acknowledge your booking request by issuing a booking voucher on behalf of the Supplier to the e-mail address you have given us upon ordering. Supplier details will only be provided if your booking is successfully allocated. Subject to clauses 2.7, 8 and 9, the order will then be fulfilled by the Supplier on the date set out in the booking voucher.
2.3 You confirm that all details you provide to us for the purpose of purchasing the Service from the Supplier will be correct, that the credit or debit card which you use is your own or you use it on your behalf with the permission of the owner and that there are sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of the Service. We reserve the right to obtain validation of your credit or debit card details before providing you with the Service. If validation cannot be obtained and payment is not made, we reserve the right to cancel the booking on behalf of the Supplier concerned who will then not perform the Service.
2.4 For bookings that are successfully allocated to a Supplier, a voucher will be produced detailing your journey details, the Supplier’s details and your unique voucher number. It is your responsibility to check the details of your booking on the voucher prior to travel and inform us if there are any errors. Transfer-Lesvos.com / Lesvorama cannot be held responsible if the details entered at the time of placing your request are incorrect. You must present this to the driver at the start of your journey. The supplier can refuse the transfer if your booking voucher is not shown.
2.5 Details of the prices for the Service, and the procedures for payment and delivery are displayed on our website. The applicable price of any Service is the price displayed on our website at the date and time of your order. The price of any Service on our website may change before you place an order. We try to ensure that our prices displayed on our website are accurate but the price on your order will need to be validated by us as part of the acceptance procedure (see clause 2.6 below). In accepting these terms and conditions once the price of the Service is confirmed, you waive your right to have the Service fare calculated on a taximeter or other means of calculation.
Special note: Changes to and errors in advertised and confirmed prices and other website details sometimes occur. You must check the price of your chosen transfers at the time of booking.
2.6 We will inform you if a Service’s correct price is higher than that stated in your order and you may cancel the order and decide whether or not to order the Service at the correct price. If you cancel the order, you will receive a refund of all monies you have paid.
2.7 Prices quoted are per vehicle – except for some cases of bus transport, where after consultation between us, the prices are quoted per person.
2.8 You must pay by credit or debit card at the time of order as set out on the order page of our website. The cards we accept are set out on the order page of our website.
You can also pay by bank deposit, information about the accounts will be received at the email address you gave us when ordering. Banks charge us a handling fee and we will pass this on to you where you make payment using the bank deposit option.
2.9 If you are booking via a Travel Agent, they are acting as a sub-agent on behalf of the Supplier. You do not have a contract with the Supplier for the supply of Services until full payment has been received by the Supplier. The Supplier will not accept any liability in respect of any confirmed Services until full payment has been received by the Supplier. Once we have received the payment from the Travel Agent, we will be able to place your booking with the Supplier.
2.10 If you have any special requests, please let us know at the time of booking. We will endeavor to pass on all such requests to the Supplier, however we cannot guarantee that they will be met and we will have no liability to you if they are not. Special requests may include also additional charges payable directly at the supplier.
3. Changes and Cancellations
3.1 If you wish to change or cancel your booking, you must visit our website and login to the reservation system with the reservation number and your username and password that you received by the confirmation e-mail and follow the instructions provided on this site. If you wish to make any change or cancellation in writing, please send e-mail at email@example.com or fax to +30 2253072292, informing us your request. Then, the part of our company will contact you to settle in your request. If the request for cancellation or change is sent outside of the working hours then the day of receipt of the request will be considered the next business day. You are advised to carefully read the cancellation policy or change your reservation before making your reservation.
Please note that you will be charged for canceling or changing transfer reservations according to the following terms:
- To cancel or change a reservation up to 14 days before date of arrival the charge is free.
- To cancel or change a reservation up to 7 days before the date of arrival the charge is 10% of the total value of your reservation.
- To cancel or change a reservation up to 4 days before the date of arrival the charge is 30% of the total value of your reservation.
- To cancel or change a reservation up to 2 days before the date of arrival the charge is 50% of the total value of your reservation.
- To cancel or change a reservation 1 day or the date of arrival or no show the charge is 100% of the total value of your reservation.
Please note that for some prices or some special offers there is no possibility of cancellation or change.
3.2 If We Make Changes to your booking – Occasionally it may be necessary for changes to be made to your booking (after acceptance) by us or the supplier company. In all such cases we will also use all reasonable efforts to find alternative suitable Services for you at no extra cost, we will advise you as soon as reasonably possible before the time of transfer and, if the proposed changes are unacceptable, you will be offered a full refund. However, in such circumstances, we shall have no additional liability in respect for any direct or indirect losses you may suffer as a result of such changes.
Compensation – Refund
The refund of money on cancellations or changes of bookings for transfers will be done as soon as possible and not later than the end of the month following of the date of the cancellation.
4.Responsibilities & Obligations
4.1 We act as a booking agent. As such, we accept no responsibility for the actual provision of services. Our responsibilities are limited to publishing information on our website about the Services the Suppliers supply; passing on reservation information to Suppliers and informing you of any enforced changes to the terms of your booking. We accept no responsibility for any information about the transfers that we pass on to you in good faith. We accept no liability for any illness, injury, death or loss of any kind, including loss, damage or theft of any luggage or personal belonging you or your party may be carrying. Any claim for loss, injury, illness or death should be pursued with the Supplier directly or may be covered under the terms of your insurance. We only accept liability to you for claims which arise solely as a result of our own negligence.
4.2 Descriptions of transfers provided are taken from information provided to us by the Supplier and we do not accept responsibility for any inaccuracies in such information, nor can liability be accepted for changes to facilities which are not communicated to us by the Supplier.
4.3 In the case that we are found liable to you on any basis whatsoever, our maximum liability to you is limited to once the cost of your booking (or the appropriate proportion of this, if not everyone on the booking is affected). We do not exclude or limit any liability for death or personal injury that arises as a result of our negligence or that of any of our employees whilst acting in the course of their employment.
4.4 It is your responsibility to travel with the booking voucher which lists arrival instructions (which differ at each airport) and all of the relevant local contact numbers in the event of an emergency and local office reconfirmation hours and contact number. This is made clear on your booking voucher and on the website. Neither us, nor the Supplier, will accept any responsibility for any loss of Service or other loss should you not travel with your booking voucher.
4.5 If your flight, ship or arrival time has changed, we recommend that you contact the 24-hour helpline as soon as possible, as they may be able to assist you in finding alternative transfer arrangements. Please note that neither we nor the supplier are obliged to pay if there is an extra cost for such alternative settings.
4.6 Statement of responsibility from the user
The user guarantees:
a) that is over 18 years and assume responsibility for any use of this site by minors on their behalf.
b) for the correctness and completeness of all information and data relating to individual user or family members of persons or items, which are transmitted under use of this site.
c) to use the website in accordance with the law and follow the written rules of use and its use to be made in a legal manner so as not to restrict or prevent access by third parties.
d) to make only legitimate reservations and purchases on behalf of or with respect to other persons, for and on behalf of whom have the right to act.e)not to make any arrest for speculative, misleading or in purpose to defraud or increasing demand for a product.
General agrees to defend and indemnify the «LESVORAMA» and partners and suppliers from any claim resulting act, claim, loss, damage, fine or any other outlet including but not limited to every legal or accounting costs resulting from you or to your violation of the liability described above or misuse of this site.
4.7 Force Majeure: Force majeure means that neither we nor the Supplier will pay you compensation if we or the Supplier have to cancel or change any Service because of unforeseeable circumstances beyond our or the Supplier’s control. These can include, but are not limited to, accidents and related delays, unplanned marches, demonstrations and organized disruption, police operations, unforeseen road hazards, terrorist activity and its consequences or the threat of such activity, riot, the act of any government or other national or local authority, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or other similar events outside our or the Supplier’s control.
5.1 If you encounter a problem with your transfer service, please inform the Supplier, or call us using the numbers given to you on your booking voucher, and we will immediately endeavor to investigate the matter with the Supplier on your behalf and put things right. Failure to notify us or the Supplier concerned of your complaint at this stage will affect our ability to investigate the matter complained of, and your rights under the contract with the Supplier.
5.2 If you have any service complaints upon your return, in relation to services booked with us, you should direct them to us via our website or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to Lesvorama, M. Goutou 27, GR-81108 Mithimna Lesvos. We will liaise with the Supplier and endeavor to resolve all service issues within 28 days of notification. Please note that any complaints must be received in writing within 28 days of the return booking date. (If an outbound transfer only – then within 28 days of this date).
6. Specific terms and conditions
Transfer Driving Area
Driving area and based island is Lesvos. Ferrying with a transfer to other Greek Islands is possible only on request and with the written authorization from transfer-lesvos/ lesvorama and the supplier companies.
Delivery & Collection / Opening Hours
Delivery and collection to the booked outbound transfer date and time within the working hours is included. The opening transfer hours for all destinations are from Monday to Sunday between 06:00 -23:00 Hour. Outside opening hours even if late collection is caused by a flight or boat delay is possible for an additional charge. The surcharge outside the opening hours is €25.00.
Disabilities and Medical Problems
We are not a specialist disabled transfer company, but we will do our utmost to cater for any special requirements you may have. If you or any member of your party has any medical problem or disability which may affect your transfer, please provide us with full details by submitting them to our booking agent before we confirm your booking so that we can advise as to the suitability of your chosen arrangements if possible.
Please inform us at the time of booking if any of the passengers is wheelchair user and if the wheelchair is collapsible, so that we can ensure that the correct vehicle is booked to meet your needs.
As per the EU directive 2003/20/EC the following applies:
Children must use the correct child seat until they are 135cm tall or age 12 (whichever they reach first). They then must wear an adult seatbelt. It is the driver’s responsibility to see that children are restrained correctly. However, there is an exemption for licensed vehicles, which can still carry children even if the correct child seat is not available.
Licensed vehicles are subject to the following rules:
Infant: Children under 3 years of age may travel unrestrained (on an adult’s lap) in the rear of a vehicle if no child seat is provided.If customers choose to use or take a child seat, then the child must be included in the total number of passengers travelling, as a seat in the vehicle will be required.
Children aged 3 years and above always count as passengers and occupy a seat, and must use an adult seat belt if no child seat is provided.
NB – If parents choose to use a car seat, we recommend they take their own to ensure safety standards. Upon request at the time of booking, in some resorts, child seats can be pre-booked. Ιf you need this service, you can choose between Baby Seat(s) (Babys approx.0-12 months or 0-10Kg), Child Seat(s) (Children approx. 1-3 years or 9-18Kg) and Booster Seat(s) (Children approx. 4-7 y. or 15-30Kg). The surcharge for a child seat is €4.80 per transfer.
You may carry with you one standard-sized suitcase and one piece of hand luggage of a similar size as allowed by airlines.
Further luggage may be carried at our discretion but:-you will be liable to our suppliers for any additional costs incurred in the carriage of such items.
Excess baggage: Please inform us at the time of booking if you wish to travel with excess baggage including, but not limited to, surfboards, bicycles, pet carriers or other oversized items. This is first to ensure that our vehicles can accommodate you and additionally to inform you about the eventually extra cost of the excess baggage.
Should you fail to notify us at the time of booking, the Supplier can refuse the transfer and will not accept any responsibility for any loss of transfer service should you not inform us properly.
Excess baggage may be carried at our discretion but:-you will be liable to our suppliers for any additional costs incurred in the carriage of such items.
We reserve the right within our reasonable discretion to terminate the transfer, if you or your party’s conduct or behavior is disruptive in any way and/or affects your safety or that of the driver of the vehicle. Neither we nor any of our suppliers accept liability for any extra costs incurred by you/or your party as a result of us or any of our suppliers doing so.
Passengers are not permitted to take alcoholic drinks onto the vehicles for the purpose of consuming them during the transfer journey. We further reserve the right to refuse carriage to any person who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Full payment for any damage or losses caused by any passenger must be paid directly to us or other supplier prior to departure from the transfer. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you.
We cannot be held responsible for the actions or behavior of other guests or individuals who have no connection with your booking arrangements or with us.
7.1 We may alter these terms and conditions from time to time and post the new version on our website, following which all use of our website will be governed by the new version. The terms governing the purchase of any Service will be the terms in place at the time of your order. If you wish to rely on any variations to these terms and conditions, you should ensure that such variations are agreed with us in writing as soon as possible.
7.2 Applicable law: The use of the site, the terms and conditions and provide of our services is subject to the laws of the Greek state. Hereby agree that any dispute arising from or relating to the use of this site, exclusive jurisdiction to the courts of Mytilene.
7.3 If any part of this declared invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law, including, the disclaimer and liability limitations set out above, the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that approximates the maximum end of the original provision and the remaining terms and provisions will remain valid.
7.4 A printed version of this and any label given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and under the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and stored in paper form.
7.6 Information’s for passports, visas, currency and health regulations. The responsibility for compliance these provisions lie solely with the user. If the user is traveling to or from abroad should comply with the relevant provisions on passports, visa, customs, taxes, and provisions for imports and exports, as the health conditions of each country. For more information the user should contact the Greek Consulate in his country or for the departure, the Consulate of the country at which you will travel, in Greece.
7.7 Comments, Social Media and user satisfaction.
The website enables us to publish comments and may present comments, and other materials related to transfers and other travel experiences that you can take part and for which you submit your comments. In particular, using such a service advocates and warrants that:
- own or otherwise control all of the rights of user reviews and material you post.
- will not publish or distribute any information or material belonging to a third party without the express written consent.
- User comments you submit is accurate, regarding the date of publication.
- User comments and material you supply does not fail to fulfill the terms and conditions of use of the site.
- disclaims any proprietary right in your reviews and good equipment and the material and can be used, copied, distributed and made available freely by any means and in any form by «LESVORAMA» or websites without your permission.
- will not publish deliberately or reckless information that may cause injury or insult any person or company in particular: you will not post reviews, information or material false, malicious, libelous, abusive, obscene or reasonably capable as such
- will not act in any way designed to deceive or mislead and will not get involved in or encourage any fraudulent or illegal activities<//li>
The Company does not process the user submitted reviews and accepts no responsibility for these user comments or ancillary publication, use or distribution. The user comment published in the integrity of the site for the information of the hotel or service for the sole purpose of informing the (future) customers about your views on services and quality. Additionally, the company does not verify, endorse or approve the views or comments expressed in any user comments, which are personal opinions of those who submit.
The Company reserves the right to refuse publication or removal or adjustment (without notice), for any reason and at its discretion, any user comments. Among other things, this is where the company receives a complaint from a third party and / or has reason to believe that breached the terms and conditions.
If you have a complaint about any comment or material posted on this site, waiting to express in writing at email@example.com, give as much information as possible about the circumstances. Please note that the company reserves the right to request more information about the nature of the complaint and if necessary ask to verify your identity.
